Don't Buy Into the Illusion
I’m here to remind you....
This morning I was reading the personal wall of a very successful mentor of mine who’s program I purchased a couple of years ago and have enjoyed.
I like to look at how people live their lives in accordance to what they teach and was disappointed today.
She had shared a story of someone she thought was horrible for what he had done. The problem for me was not the sharing of a newspaper article. The problem was the thread of negativity it invoked. A long trail of hurtful, judgmental comments affirming her disposition made me really sad.
What people don’t understand is that you can only feel, or project what you possess inside.
A judgment had been placed on the behavior of a father for his actions airing dirty laundry.
I felt like commenting to say that I actually felt for him and his family.
I see it as not my place to judge for if I do, I judge myself.
If I do then I buy into a lower level of energy.
If I do then it means I’ve lost faith in love and in our universe.
If I do then I project that emotion and feeling which will come back at me.
If I judge, then I condemn.
It’s not my place to do that.
If I feel connected to the whole, then I understand that all is perfection. I understand that everything happens for a reason. I understand that ultimately it doesn’t really exist. I understand that everyone acts according to how they feel about themselves.
Acceptance of what is, is vital.
I understand that there is a bigger picture in play.
I understand that everything happens for a reason.
I understand that there is Divinity in everything.
I understand that there is a Godself in every one.
You cannot feel or express what’s not inside you. If I judge then I need to look inside to find out what I need to forgive within myself.
If you condem others, you’re condemning yourself for the world is a projection. It’s a mirror of consciousness.
There’s only one of us here.
According to Rumi, we are not the drop in the ocean. We are the ocean in the drop.
Each of us, connected in a universal tapestry.
What we need is healing, not condemning.
What we need is understanding, not rejecting.
What we need is compassion, not hatred. 💖
